Map – I actually found my hut on Google Maps. Zoom out far enough and you’ll see Chipata (marked A). The agent I was with would bike from the village to Chipata and back to bring agricultural inputs to farmers in his area.
Now that I have a Zambike, I hope I’ll be able to make the trip with him when I go back to the village.

Also, if you look at the terrain elevation map, it shows why I had no cell phone reception. Mount Bozza (or Lupiri Bozza in Nyanja) was directly between me and the cell towers of Chipata. I had to get to the main road and bike another kilometer or two towards Chipata until I could get reception. This is a challenge of doing business in remote areas faced by agents.
